The Minnesota Timberwolves have just stepped their foot down to make an impact in the Western Conference. The front office hired Tom Thibodeau as their new president and head coach. The Timberwolves already have arguably the best young group of players including Ricky Rubio, Karl Anthony Towns, and Andrew Wiggins. Their new coach will turn them into a well disciplined and physical brand of basketball playing team. He will likely also develop the young players into stars in a matter of a couple of years.

Byron Scott of the Los Angeles Lakers was relieved of his head coaching duties and will soon search for another team.
